children, take part in the national immunization programme, and work on clean water, sanitation and hygiene.

What we do
Our mission is to promote human and socio-economic development for under-privileged people, especially women and children. Our programmes serve children and families in Bashabo and nearby slum
communities.
Education
Since 2000 the BFA school has taught disadvantaged children from wards 4 and 5 of Dhaka South City Corporation, with free admission to classes 1 to 3. Students receive school uniforms and help with the cost of educational kits, and the school takes part in the BFA-BNF schooling project with the Bangladesh NGO Foundation.
